I have always felt for some reason I need to continuously challenge myself. Sometimes that drive comes back to bite me in the ass. Throughout middle and high school, I always felt I needed to overcome what I struggled with in school. The subjects I struggled with in school were Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. I ended up continuing to challenge myself. From a combination of incorporating what my parents wanted me to become as well as my need to feel I conquered my weakness, I was convinced I needed to become a doctor. It took myself 2-years in college to realize I was making myself miserable doing something I had no passion for (and was not good at).
What I lost sight of was the subjects that came easy for me are usually what I was actually good at. Remember, what comes easy is usually your calling.
