Mercedez AMG SLS slated to go on sale in US market for $183K

So it's official, the Mercedes Benz AMG SLS is slated to go on sale in the US market for $183K.

I was fortunate enough to get to spend a day on the track at Laguna Seca driving this awesome machine. The car is luxurious, incredibly fast and has plenty of torque on tap.  The car is a bit difficult to get into and out of.  The door sill ledge is wide, almost as wide as the Lotus Elise so this makes getting into the car a bit more difficult vs. a regular sedan.  In addition, there is not automatic function to close the doors, so you have to be mindful to grab the door handle as you enter the car, otherwise closing the car from a seating position so low in the floor pan makes the process difficult for you but amusing for bystanders.

Unfortunately, $183,000 MSRP is still a bit too expensive for my taste.  I guess I'm going to have to wait for the baby SLS and hope in the meantime my stock price goes up!
