Cost of one new hire can cost a company millions...
I have read the book "Delivering Happiness" by Tony Hsieh and it's a great story and guidebook on building a successful company where people would want to stay and excel.
I completely agree with the video below and have encountered this with many companies I worked with, especially the last company I was a part of. The poor hiring of an individual onto the team completely destroyed the group dynamic and culture, and eventually lead to the the team disbanding, which caused the loss of a significant amount of institutional knowledge.
