Top Gear on 60 minutes.
It's too bad that they are trying to mimic the UK Top Gear magic in Australia and the US. The truth is, a lot of the brilliance of this show comes from the chemistry between Hammond, May, and Clarkson. You can't replicate that in any other country with any other "me too" show.
Very few shows had been able to replicate the magic of the original. Iron Chef US failed miserably the first time around with William Shatner, but was able to recover the 2nd time around when they figured out what made the first show tick (i.e. the fact it was a real competition, with real judges, and not a "show").
Like the show "Coupling" and to be quite honest "The Office", the original British version is just better. I'm glad The History Channel realized that and decided to just carry the original show.
