Couples who cook together stay together?

Well, could be a possibility.  I been with my gf for quite some time now, and we're still happy to be stuck with each other. Before the commitment to eating healthy, we used to cook a lot together making some very unhealthy but yummy things.  We still cook together, but we're much tamer than we used to be.

Generally, my gf is great at following recipes and using various kitchen accessories (mixer, food processor, ice cream maker).  She's also a very accomplished baker.  I, on the other hand, am better at making bbq ribs, steak, prime rib, anything grilled, or just making stuff up.  I wanted to share some of the yummy items we have created together.  I think it's pretty easy to tell who made what.  If it looks pretty, you can bet it's most likely made by the SO.  All of the items below are homemade from scratch except where noted.

As my girlfriend said, in order to make something taste good, just put MORE butter in it!

Braised pork belly over rice with a side of Thai curry (leftover from Thai Basil)

Pasta with grass fed ground beef and sausage

Grilled chicken thigh in tomato based sauce

Made up Asian noodle stir fry

Peanut butter ice cream with crunchy ginger snap and orange chocolate chip cookies

Pillsbury crescent rolls stuffed with peanut butter, Nutella, and various jams

Braised beef short ribs over rice

Strawberry Nutella ice cream

Try #2 braised pork belly over rice

Onion pancake (from Darda in Milpitas) with Chinese-style scramble

Try #2 Trader Joe's crescent rolls with cream cheese, peanut butter, Nutella, and jams (but it didn't work well cause it melted everywhere)

Beef stew over homemade noodles

Peanut butter Nutella ice cream with candied bacon bits (this was an office potluck hit, so good but so rich, and coworkers still talk about it)

 Madeleines

Butter chicken with rice and stir fry vegetables

Hamburger with cilantro, basil and cheddar cheese

Meat loaf with 85/15 grass fed beef

I haven't taken pictures of all of the food we made together, so this is just a select few I was able to find on my iPhone.  Nevertheless, I will start posting more notable food items we make going forward!
