Eve in Berkeley

A while back I went to this great little husband and wife restaurant on University Ave in Berkeley called Eve.  Unfortunately, my gf was under the weather so she couldn't taste most of her food, but the experience was quite good and the food was very tasty.

The way the menu works is you can select I believe 3 items for a set price, and more on an a la carte basis.  You can select 3 appetizers, or 3 dinners, or even 3 desserts if you'd like.

This was the highlight of my meal.  I love soft runny yolk so this dish was a must for me. This dish reminds me of the breakfast my father used to make for me when I was young.

I enjoyed the experience and the price was fairly reasonable (not cheap, but reasonable).
