Hayward the most diverse city in San Francisco Bay Area laughable

So Mercury News came out with this new article declaring Hayward the most diverse city in the San Francisco Bay Area.  First of all, let's just be really clear, Hayward is a really ghetto and dangerous place to live.  From the few times I was unfortunate enough to have to go there, it was very close to being as bad as going to downtown Oakland.  Hayward housing prices are very cheap and the demographic of people who reside there tend to be on the lower end of the totem pole.

I think this article should be less of a celebration and more of a realization that most of the rich individuals in the San Francisco are still predominately white.  For example, the areas they mentioned such as Walnut Creek and Belvedere are much more affluent areas.

I'm not sure having a large influx of poor Hispanics, Asians, and Blacks coming into your community is something to be proud about.
