In remembrance

It has been almost two years since I sold my last sports car and joined the Volvo family.  This was one of the last pictures I took of my car, the day I reached 80,000 miles on the odometer.  I purchased the vehicle used with less than 30,000 miles on the odometer, and within the next 4-years I proceeded to put over 50,000 miles on the car.

Besides for the high maintenance, it had been a reliable car.  The current owner, whom I have kept in touch with, has continued to tell me the car is reliable as well as a joy to drive.  Though the vehicle did recently need to have its battery replaced.

This goes to my point of any high end car, if you want the vehicle to last, you have to treat it well, as well as continue to drive it frequently.  As weird as this sounds, not driving a vehicle and leaving it sitting for long periods of time actually will, from my experience, increase the chances things will break.

I guess everyone needs a little attention and TLC every now and then.
