SO wants a new camera, Dad wants a new lens

My SO wants the new 60D to replace the antique Canon Digital Rebel (the original from 2003 baby), and my dad wants the L-series 70-300mm (or the 300 fixed, who knows).  I saw both of them together at a local camera shop this afternoon.

Time to start saving.  Not me.  Time for them to start saving.
