The weather in the SF Bay Area is horrible. I really hope the horrible weather is translating to some really nice powder for Tahoe.
Last night and this morning, we were hammered with downpours and high winds. The commute to the office was horrible. I decided I didn't want to look like a drowned rat when I get into the office, so today I cheated, and parked in the valet lot next to my office rather than a mile away then walking in. No 2-mile walk today.
I also noticed on my walk home yesterday (fortunately, I got to my car right before the rain started to downpour) that there were a lot more container ships than usual just seemly camped out in the Bay. Oakland, along with Long Beach and Seattle, are big shipping ports for the Far East. I wonder if the Earthquake and subsequent disaster in Japan is causing this backup of container ships in the SF Bay.
