The downside of this survey is that these large firms can employ "black hat" PR firms that sign onto these sights as false users to boost their ratings. I have also seen with my last employer where the HR/Recruiting department would sign up as an annoymous users and rave about how great the company is to boost up the overall ratings and counteract the numerous negative ones. These departments are also very diligent on tracing down bad reviews from current employees and having them take it down or revise it with "gentle persuasion".
Seems like a lot of work when they could have simply treated their employees fair to begin with, no?
