Ferrari does not equal good driver

Just because you can afford a Ferrari, doesn't mean you know how to drive.  Just like my post about the two Corvettes racing, being able to afford a nice car doesn't mean you have any more common sense or have the ability to actually handle those cars.

Having been to several driving schools and experienced how the professionals (i.e. Formula 1 safety driver Bernd Maylander) can handle and drive a car, I can pretty confidently say that most people who claim they are great drivers, have more ego than their skills can cash.

If someone you know claims they are an amazing driver, you can pretty much bet they aren't.  Even the best drivers know that they are always learning, and there is someone better.
