I'm not too sure how this is kosher with the military brass since this may give away their positions to the enemy, but I guess a lot of soldiers now have HD flashcard cameras issued to them by the military staff. This is a good idea since it gives both live feed as well as footage for the military to review after an engagement, and what they use look like the same equipment people can buy at REI for mountain biking or skiing. The one interesting thing I found was that some of these videos made it onto Youtube.
Nothing graphic or gory, but it's interesting to "experience" and "participate" in an actual firefight. This is nothing like how they depicted it on TV and movies.
