Food that I will miss (or already miss)

There are so many food that I will have to restrict myself from eating that I'm only starting to come to terms with it.  I don't believe I can do it justice without mentioning some of my all time favorites. Today is a sad day indeed.

Plaza Gourmet Santa Fe sandwich with their amazing French fries

I'm pretty sure they put crack in their fries.  Stored in mundane paper bags, contains some of the best fries I have ever eaten.  They are tempura crunchy on the outside while still soft as a pillow on the inside.  The Santa Fe is one of the most expensive sandwich they sell at Plaza Gourmet.  The sandwich is basically a Philly Cheese Steak on steroids; turkey Philly with pepper jack cheese and guacamole.  What can be a better combination.  Oh wait, fried bacon.  Yeah, this sandwich completes me, and also takes off 5-years from my life.

Costco Polish Sausage Hot dog with soda

How can $1.50 for a polish sausage hot dog with soda go wrong?  I love to dress up said hot dog with fresh onions, relish, and deli mustard.  Seriously, I don't think there's a better deal out there for the price point.

Del Taco

I don't think this needs much introduction.  Their soft beef tacos with their secret sauce.  Just excellent.

Woodside Bakery and Cafe

This little cafe nestled in downtown Woodside offers some of the best cakes I have seen.  Very rich and flavorful.  Their chocolate cake tastes like you're just eating truffles.  Not for the faint of heart.

Pulled Pork Sandwich

Homemade, or from a BBQ joint, nothing tastes better.  Pork butt is probably one of the fattier meats on the pig, and after slow roasting it for hours, it is one of the most flavorful and moist piece of meat. When slathered with some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, everything comes together. Yum.

Mentos, the fresh maker

Cola flavored candy, simply amazing.  The candy tastes like drinking a Coke, literally.  This represents all the candy I will no longer be allowed to eat.  One of the key to dieting is to cut out all simple sugars.... sigh.

Kubideh Kababs

So yummy, yet so unhealthy.   The kubideh itself is probably fairly healthy, but the rice and all the accessories I'm going to miss.
