I'm getting sick hearing all these politicians accusing Wall Street and pretty much everyone else about the recent financial crises. I strongly believe human beings in general are inherently greedy. Some are just better at acquiring money then others.
Let's just review this simple scenario:
Mr. Mortgage Broker wants to lend a lot of money to a broke guy who obviously has no ability to pay back the loan. Why would the broke guy take the loan if he's an upstanding citizen? The reason why he would is because of greed -- I mean, it's free money. Greed isn't only at the top, it extends to even the poorest individual in our society.
We are all responsible. Own up to it.
