How long does it take for you to get your 2010 California Tax Refund? Don't hold your breath.
I called them earlier this week to investigate. If you e-filed, the returns take anywhere up to 4-weeks from the time they receive the returns (which should be immediate) to complete, even though the whole process is automated.
If you mailed in your returns via snail mail like I have, mainly because my accountant refuses to sign up for electronic filing, it will take your returns 4-8 weeks to process from the time they receive the returns.
Yes, dear. It will take some time for you to get that return. I hope you weren't planning on taking a trip to Hawaii with it...
