Unfortunate result of conflicting cultures from acquisitions. This is why beyond discounted cash flow and Net Present Value, culture is just as important, of not more so, than the assets purchased. Of course, if you're buying a company for only the assets at a fire sale price, there is no reason to care about the culture.
