Jeremy Clarkson, Callaway, and a RUF

Jeremy Clarkson has been a rumbustious commentator even in his heyday when he was actually somewhat slimmer and still had hair. Even back then, he was about as un-politically correct as one can be legally on TV. Even so, Jeremy raises a fair point. This goes back to the basic chassis quality of the Porsche vs. the Corvette. The Corvette is a fast car, but never really engineered well. In fact, Jeremy describes the stock car chassis as being barely able to handle the power given to it from the factory. That being said, it's pretty easy to see why the Porsche platform is such a better base to do your modifications on, and why RUF ends up being such a highly coveted car.
